Feeling stuck in your leadership?

Updated: Jun 29

Feeling stuck in your leadership? It might not be the external challenges but the internal ones holding you back.

Our minds are full of hidden cognitive and emotional biases that often steer us off course without us even realizing it.

The good news is by pausing and reflecting, you can turn these mind knots into powerful assets.

Take a moment to ask yourself:

  1. What assumptions am I making right now?

  2. How might my emotions be clouding my judgment?

  3. What could I do differently to improve the decisions I make and the actions I take?

By regularly checking in with yourself and asking these questions you can begin to recognize and manage your biases, leading to more thoughtful, effective leadership.

Remember, self-leadership is the first step toward effectively leading others, and it starts with self-awareness.

So, what step can you take today to overcome a hurdle holding back your leadership potential?

The difference between where you are today and where you want to be is in the steps you haven’t taken yet.
